Small Wonders

A miniature book created for the inaugural Valda Quick Paper Arts Exhibition held by Papermakers of Victoria in 2010. Measuring 7cm x 5.5cm
Cover paper was made from native tussock grass. The spine was a fine leather suede.
Endpapers were cut from some of my paste papers.
Seven sections were stitched onto walnut dyed tapes and text written with a steel nib and ink made from walnut skins.
This was the inspiration for the book and here is a photo of Page 3 and scans of some of the other pages within.
