have always loved the funny little rhyme:
"toity poiple boids asittin on d'koib a'choipin 'n a'boipin 'n eatin' doity woims" which - should you need a translation is:: "thirty purple birds a sitting on the kerb a'chirping and a'burping and eating dirty worms" |

 Each book has an original and therefore individual 'boid' on the cover and is fastened with a handtwisted suede cord |

 The illustration (by Cecilia) is inkjet printed onto Arches HP watercolour paper |

 Birds are handpainted using a mixture of watercolour, gouache and mica powder |

 Some windows etc. are gold foiled |
